Happy Labor Day 2024!
Starting out my adult life as a carpenter, this is a holiday that has
always meant a lot to me personally. On reflection, it was work I felt
called to do. Although I did not have the language at the time, I loved
taking a concept from an idea or vision, and fashioning that vision into a
real-world living space, home, or piece of furniture.
This life experience nicely coincides with the Science of Mind teaching
where we know that our thoughts are things. When we create in the
physical world, Spirit creates in the meta-physical world. As we learn to
cultivate and embrace the Truth of being One with our Creator, we
grow in the awareness that we co-create in and from this meta-physical
Divine Substance. Our whole life then changes from struggle to
challenge, from challenge to freedom. We are free because we truly are
One with the Spirit within! And everyone else is too!
This Labor Day let’s show gratitude for the people serving us out there. We know your work is essential and needed. Your value transcends your paycheck, for without you the world would surely miss your light and contribution to the world. I celebrate YOU!
